    Heathrow Terminal 2A - Wayfinding

    New airport terminal for 20 million yearly passengers replace Terminal 2.It represents one of the largest privately funded construction projects in the UK with total investments in excess of £2.5bn including its adjacent piers and buildings. T2A has been designed to greatly improve the passenger experience. It will be Heathrow’s most sustainable terminal yet. GFA 180.000 m2 (phase 1) Construction cost: £ 1.5bn (estimated) Completion/ open to public: June 2014 Position: Architecture Specialist Works carried out for Idom/Acxt, subcontracted by Ferrovial Agroman:
    • Design Co-ordination for delivery of scheme design for wayfinding strategy and media and information systems
    • Production of drawings and reports
    • Communication with client, engineers, building control, fire consultant Co-ordination of technical design and detail design for wayfinding and media package
    • Production of plans, reports and specifications for tender package
    • Co- ordination of detail design for signage and media products and displays in interior fit-out package
    • Site visits to co-ordinate planning process.
